ROR Routes to our Roots

Erasmus + projet 2020 2023

In a world where the current geo-political developments of the super-powers and other influential countries are at odds with the common values that the European project was built on, it is important that we re-double our efforts to celebrate and reinforce the ideals and values we hold strong in our community. Through a range of activities between different educational establishments from across the EU and beyond we will explore and celebrate our common cultural and natural history. We will discover the Routes to our Roots. There are 6 participating educational institutions from 6 countries. The project will directly involve 2000 students and 50 supporting staff. The activities are diverse ranging from biodiversity to multilinguism. Many students will visit other countries through student exchange programmes learning about other countries and cultures through direct experiences.
These students are our future leaders, understanding our common history and humanity is fundamental to the European project and this programme, through studying our shared cultural and natural histories they will see how there is more that binds us than separates us. These experiences will be beneficial for all of us into the future.
